This ball gown is completed with cartridge pleating in the skirt which adds a lot of body at the waist--this must be completed by hand and each pleat is reinforced to ensure that they retain their beautiful, crisp shape. The gown is comprised of nearly ten yards of fabric. This is intended to be a very high end ball gown and would not be appropriate for reenactors attempting to achieve a lower or middle class impression. (For non reenactors "impression" refers to the overall look/individual/charactor that the reenactor is trying to achieve). This gown is meant to be worn over proper undergarments--corset, hoop skirt, etc. Without foundation garments this dress will not look as pictured.

Prices vary based on customer choices and will be confirmed before any work is completed or materials purchased. A minimum of 50% of the total cost is required to begin your project.
