Late 1850’s gathered work dress. Light cotton fabric in period appropriate print-to be pre-approved and chosen by you prior to commencing the project. Pictured here with an over large hoop skirt. This dress should be worn with a corded petticoat, under skirts or minimal hoop. This dress is utilitarian and meant to be worn when you need to roll up your sleeves and dig in to dirty dishes, a laundry bucket, cooking over a capfire, or any other chore. Apron NOT included.
